It's Been Awhile

Well, I certainly didn't mean to ignore my blog, but that's what happened. Oh, well.
I love blogs of other people, usually women, dealing with house and home, yard and garden, farm and animals. All these topics interest me like no other. I keep finding some interesting sights of late and would like to share one them here. Not Quite June Cleaver was one I found today! After reading a few of the post, Im definately adding it to my favorites list. She definately has house and home and yard and garden. She covers some animals but not the kind I raise, but you never know. Love it!
I haven't been ignoring my blog for nothing, I've been a little busy. I've been reading some very interesting books on farming. "Salad Bar Beef" and "Family Friendly Farming" both writen by Joel Salatin have been taking up some of my time. Each book is filled with so much information you can only take in a few chapters at a time. But what great chapters!
I've also have the pleasure of spending time with my little Grandson Isaac. What a cutie pie. Last weekend we spent the morning together, just him and I. We had a great time and I look forward to tonight when he comes again. He's eight months now and soon will be walking around our little farm checking out the chickens, kittens and cows. His grandpa loves him like crazy. Always picking him up and taking him on walks to visit the neighbors. What fun!
Sarah and Beth are both pregnant now and we'll be blessed with two more babies in the fall. Our little family is growing like sonflowers.
