What a handsome little man he is. I couldn't wait to hold him. Of course, Mike brags about being the first to hold little Isaac. That's ok, I got to hold him longer during our time in eastern Wa.I split my time with my mom and with Beth, Mike had to work. Beth lives about an hour away so I would visit in the afternoon and be back in time to fix dinner for the family.
I was planning on heading back to Beth's on Thursday, but right before Mom and I were to leave, we got a call from the school. Kaylee was sick and needed someone to pick her up, so off I went. She stayed with us for an hour till her dad could come. During that hour a major dust storm started to brew. There went our trip to see the baby. UGH!

That night Mike and I headed home. Our car was loaded first with Mike's extra clothes and stuff, then with Mom's get rid stuff and then again with Mikes books from work. You couldn't see out of the rearview window. That was a long drive. I started the drive and drove to the Vantage turn off then Mike took over. He drove till the first town on the mountain. After watching him squirm to stay awake I told him to let me drive. He went right to sleep and I ended up driving all the way home. I put in a few CD's and stayed bright and alert all the way home. We made it home by 12:30am. Im glad to be home, but I already miss our little grandson.
Don't you worry mom, we'll be over soon enough:-) Love the grandma and grandson pictures by the way.
